Megan Kennedy is a native of a small town in Southwestern Ohio, just north of Cincinnati. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, majoring in Mathematics with an emphasis in Statistics, and minoring in Women's Studies.

Lisa Clarke is a National Board Certified Teacher in Adolescent Young Adult Social Studies-History and the Director of Policy and Partnerships. Prior to joining the staff of the National Board, she was the Team Lead for the U.S. Department of Education Teaching Ambassador Fellows. As a fellow, Clarke learned about education policy and advocated to have teachers’ wisdom at the policy table. Clarke taught social studies in Kent, WA and Brooklyn, NY. She held a variety of leadership positions in the Kent School District, including serving on the Superintendent Professional Learning Community, assisting with curriculum development, and acting as a Social Studies curricular leader. In 2011, she was honored as the World Affairs Council 2011 World Educator and was chosen to be a World Affairs Council Fellow based on her work to promote and improve global education. She came to teaching after six years at Rutgers University, where she studied gender and public policy and worked at the Center for Women’s Global Leadership (CWGL). Clarke is a graduate of Providence College and holds Master’s degrees from Rutgers University and Brooklyn College. |

Justice Kaunda Kamanga was appointed Judge of High Court of Malawi on 4 November 2012. She graduated from the University of Malawi in 1995 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) Degree. She proceeded to pursue postgraduate programmes and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Women’s Studies from Rutgers University, USA in 1997 and a Master of Laws degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cape Town, RSA in 2013.She also holds certificates in NGO Management obtained from the Imperial College, University of London obtained in 2003 and in Investigating, Monitoring and Reporting on Human Rights Violations from FAHAMU/University of Oxford obtained in 2005.
She commenced has legal career in 1995 as an Associate with Messrs Racane Associates before joining the public service as a Legal Aid Advocate. From the Department of Legal Aid she joined Women and Law in Southern Africa as a Research Associate in the year 2000. She was appointed as a Principal Resident Magistrate in 2003 and rose through the various judicial ranks before being appointed Registrar of the High Court and Malawi Supreme Court of Appeal in 2008. Her areas of interest are in gender, criminal justice and the law.

Kaitlyn received a B.A. in English and Women's and Gender Studies from The College of New Jersey. She is interested in issues of sex, sexuality, intersectionality, popular culture and looking at the world through a feminist lens. Kaitlyn is currently the Sexual Health Education Specialist at Answer’s teen website Sexetc.org. As the Sexual Health Education Specialist, Kaitlyn coordinates timely, medically-accurate, compelling content and works to add new educational features. She also works with the Sex, Etc. magazine’s teen editorial staff.
