Her work appears in Ms., The Nation, The Washington Post, Alternet, and The Guardian. In 2011, The Guardian named her one of their "top 100 women" for her work to bring the feminsit movement online. |

Elaine Zundl is the Dean of the Douglass Project for Rutgers Women in Math, Science, and Engineering at Douglass. As the Dean of the Douglass Project, Elaine works to develop programs that recruit and retain women in the STEM fields. In addition, she also teaches Knowledge and Power: Issues in Women's Leadership. Her research interests include the impact of gender and same-sex programs on women in STEM, feminist science studies, and feminist pedagogy. She also holds a B.A. from Rutgers in English and Religion.

Rebecca Richman received a B.A. in English and Women's Studies from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. While at Rutgers, she worked as an editorial intern for Signs: Journal of Women in Culture and Society. After completing her M.A., Rebecca held positions at Community Legal Services in Philadelphia and the AIDS Law Project of Philadelphia. She is currently pursuing a J.D. at Brooklyn Law College.

| Shana Fried graduated from the M.A. program in January of 2001. Her master's thesis, “Feminists Publishing Feminist Poetry," was a critical survey on 20th century feminist activism through independent publishing by feminist presses. Upon graduation, Shana worked at the United Nations as director of a fundraising office in the Department of Protocol and Diplomatic Affairs. While working at the U.N., she returned to Rutgers in 2002 as a part-time evening lecturer in the undergraduate course, Women, Culture and Society. From 2002-03, Shana volunteered as the women's program director for the Latin American Workers Project (El Proyecto) in Brooklyn, where she coordinated language and immigrants rights programs for women day laborers. In 2006, Shana completed a Juris Doctorate degree at Rutgers Newark Law School, and currently serves as Vice President and Chief Health and Life Sciences Compliance Officer at Oracle. |

Kayo Denda is the women’s studies librarian at Rutgers University Libraries. Her major responsibilities include collection development of resources on women and gender and the liaison work with the Women’s and Gender Studies Department and the institutes and centers at Rutgers dedicated to examine the women’s issues locally and globally. For the last couple of years, Kayo has been interested in ways to improve access to information in the interdisciplinary fields in general and in women’s studies in particular. She would like to immerse herself in the disciplinary knowledge and culture through the M.A. program and experience the actual information needs of the women’s studies community, as well as to reinvigorate the library services more closely with the needs of its users. Also, as someone who was born in Japan, brought up in Brazil, and a resident of the U.S. since 1979, Kayo has great interest in immigration experiences, movements of people, and subjectivities. Prior to coming to Rutgers Libraries in 2000, she worked at the Institute for Advanced Study, Historical Studies - Social Science Library in Princeton, New Jersey.
