Amanda Haziz-Ginsberg is a doctoral student in the Women's and Gender Studies department at Rutgers University. She earned her BA in Religion from Hunter College (CUNY) in 2010, and a master's from Harvard Divinity School in 2012. Throughout the past several years, she has been involved in political organizing in Boston and New York. Her research interests primarily lie at the intersection of discourses of responsibility, processes of ethical self-fashioning, and technologies of state-making and securitization.
