Rasha Moumneh earned her M.A. in anthropology from UCL in 2004, and has since been working in social justice movements primarily in Lebanon, but also in the Arab region more generally. Her activism was focused on building alternative queer and feminist movements and on Palestine solidarity work. After having spent four years employed in an international human rights organization, she went back to graduate school to think about the intersections of international law, the production of minorities, and displacement and nation-making in the Middle East.
