Tevian is a student in the Women's, Gender and Sexuality Master's program with Thesis. He graduated from Drew University in 2017 with a BA in Anthropology, and from Rutgers University in 2024 with a BA in Women's, Gender and Sexuality studies in which he completed an honor's thesis. He is a Paul Robeson scholar, a member of Lambda Alpha National Anthropology Honor Society, and was awarded the WGSS Founder's Award in Honor of Dr. Alison R. Bernstein. His areas of interest include transgender studies, gender theory, LGBTQ+ studies/history, and intersectional social justice. He intends to pursue a career in advocacy and activism paired with research with LGBTQ+ communities, with a focus on the transgender community.
