Tazmine Weisgerber (she/her/hers) r is an experienced and committed educator in the field of sexuality education. Ms. Weisgerber is the Training & Technical Assistance Manager at Answer where she is responsible for providing professional development to sexuality educators around the country including the implementation of the Foundations: Core Skills Training for Sex Ed initiative. She also provides sexual health training for the Sex, Etc. teen staff and works on other national sexual health projects, such as the Future of Sex Education (FoSE) initiative, which aim to further the reach and scope of comprehensive sexuality education. Prior to joining the Answer team, Taz was an educator with Planned Parenthood of Northern, Central & Southern New Jersey. She holds a B.S. in Health Education with Teacher Certification and a Minor in Psychology from Montclair State University.
Tazmine has an interest in all things sexuality related so it is difficult for her to pinpoint exact areas of interest. She has always had in interest in education and how to best provide sex education to youth, especially those who have marginalized identities. Ms. Weisgerber is also very passionate about reducing shame and stigma in doctor-patient interactions around sexual health topics and increasing bedside manner, in general.
