| Carolina undertook the M.A. degree at Rutgers while in the midst of a Ph.D. program in Spain. Upon completion of the M.A., she returned to Spain to complete her doctorate, and then held a postdoc position in the English Deparment at the University of La Coruña, Spain. She was also a fellow at the John F. Kennedy Institut für Nordamerikastudien at Freie Universität (Berlin), and was a postdoc professor and fellow in the Bakhtin Centre at the Univseristy of Sheffield, where she taught her first graduate seminars on Feminism and Gender Studies. |
