Bio

Preferred Pronoun: Hir, Shi, Zi

A transwoman from Alabama who wishes for people to not have to endure the same hardship she did. She works for the activist rights and legal rights of transgender individuals and helped lobby for transgender equality and protections in the state of Delaware (See SB 97 June 2013, Effective Jan 2014). Rena is currently working with the New Jersey State Police Department and Rutgers Police Department on sensitivity training, in addition to working on research concerning biological fluidity.
