Bio
Jillian Boyle (she/her) is currently completing a master's degree in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality studies. Her background in Political Science and Psychology helps her bring an intersectional perspective to her studies. During her time at Rutgers, it is her goal to cultivate research that explores the intersectionality between gender and party to inform US politics and policy decisions.
My research interests include American Politics with a focus in women's representation. I am passionate about my belief that identity and intersectional perspectives are some of the most interesting and complex determinants of US politics. More specifically, I am interested in studying the ways in which women's representation functions in political parties, particularly as party polarization becomes increasingly prominent in modern politics.
