B.A., Women's and Gender Studies, Wellesley College, 2013
Diaspora studies, temporalities, cultural production, borders, world-making.
After earning her B.A. from Wellesley College in 2013, Silvia returned to her home in New York City where she worked within her communities for two years. At Wellesley, Silvia was active in on-campus organizing and continued working within similar causes after graduating. Her research interests lie at the intersection of diaspora studies, temporalities, and borders. Silvia is thrilled to be part of the Women's and Gender Studies department at Rutgers.
