Biographical Notes

Stephanie Hernandez was very involved in the campus community as a Resident Assistant, President of the sorority, Delta Phi Epsilon, worked in various clubs and committees, and wrote for one of the school newspapers at William Paterson University. Last summer, she traveled to India for a Fulbright-Hays program with five peers and seven teachers from Paterson, New Jersey where they researched globalization and multiculralism in Asia and the improvements that can be made in terms of how Asia is integrated into the classroom curriculum. She has also participated in various conferences and presented her paper “SLUT! Growing Up Female With a Bad Reputation” at the New Jersey Women's and Gender Studies Colloquium.
